Bronze for Mexico in Men’s Handball

Mayagüez (July 30, 2010) – Mexico’s national team of men’s handball won the bronze medal after defeating Puerto Rico 30-24 in the XXI Central American and Caribbean Sports Games Mayagüez 2010.
The best scorer for Mexico was Marcial Acuña with 8 points.  While for the Puerto Rican team was Khalyl Gutiérrez with 5 points.
This is the fourth medal for the Mexicans in this discipline and the third of bronze, the other medal is of silver from Ponce 93’.  While, unfortunately, Puerto Rico was left without medals for the second consecutive time.
The gold and silver medal will be disputed tonight between the teams of Venezuela and the Dominican Republic in the Handball Pavilion El Maní of Mayagüez.
